Come join us as we tap our 2010 version of Keyser Soze. This years Imperial Stout is even bigger then last years 12.4% ABV beast!! Although the beer is still in the fermenter right now a sample has been sent to a lab and the ABV should be know soon. Come on by to see what this years results are.....

We’re going grains against grapes. And we’re going to pair them with 3 different cheeses. Certified Cicerone Sayre Piotrkowski (The Monk's Kettle) is standing up to Fromagatrix Kirstin Jackson (itsnotyouitsbrie.com) in a pairing challenge to see which booze makes the moves.

Reception is one time only, flight will run all week.

Kick off Super Bowl Sunday with food and beer pairings selected by Chef Bruce Paton. We will be featuring Russian River's Supplication, North Coast's Old Rasputin, Sierra Nevada's Hoptimum, Mateveza IPA, and also featuring Brewery Ommegang. Drink, be merry, and stay for the big game. Shattuck Ave Progressive Dinner – Four East Bay Breweries and restaurants have teamed up for a Beer and Culinary Experience for the ages. A sort of “strolling” dinner up and down Shattuck Ave. Enjoy beer from Linden St, Drakes, Ale Industries and Triple Rock paired with fine fair at these great restaurants: Meridian, Liaison, Five (in the historic Hotel Shattuck) and Chez Panisse. Start at your favorite restaurant and procceed from there. Go to all four, or as many as you would like to visit. On your way back to BART stop in at Jupiter or Triple Rock for a nightcap. The only rule to this “Strolling” dinner is Chez Panisse must have a reservation from you. They sell out every night so get yours in early and be sure to mention your with the Progressive Dinner. Meet Morgan Cox and Steve Lopas of new Concord brewery Ale Industries over a selection of their beers. They will also be bringing various gifts, sundries and joyous items such as certificates for Free Growler Fills at the brewery, as well Tours and BBQ at Ale Industries. A happy time for all!

Meet Allagash Brewmaster Rob Tod and enjoy Allagash beers paired with cheese and charcuterie. Limited to 40 people, advance reservations required.

Enjoy a dinner of four organic Bison beers and four imported Belgian beers paired with four dishes inspired by the bounty of local organic hop farmer Claudia Kuchinski (including hop asparagus!). Come dine with Kuchinski, Bison Owner/Brewer Daniel Del Grande, and Cafe Biere restaurateur Ivan Hernandez.

4 different flights of raw-milk cheese matched with 4 beers, each picked by the brewer to match the cheese. Blind-judge which match-up is best within each flight. Be crowned SF BEER WEEK CHEESE GEEK and vie to receive a gift cert. to one of the breweries. Live classical piano, too!

Meet Brewmaster Christian Kazakoff of Fairfax's Iron Springs Brewing Co. Starts at 7pm. We will be pouring a selection of Iron Springs beers, and Christian promises to bring along a few suprises as well!

Join Pyramid as we launch our newest addition: Ignition Series. Featuring beers brewed to turn it on this line up of unconventional brews sets out to ignite conversation and satisfy those looking for more beer in their beer. First up: Barbed Wire Imperial Hefeweizen. Come down to sample the brew & try our chef's Barbed Wire kitchen creations.

Join us as we tap a cask of the ever-elusive Monkey Head Arboreal ale that has been dry hopped with an absurd amount of Apollo hops. Cask will go on the hand pump at 4:30.

Bay Area Mashers homebrew club & Oak Barrel are sponsoring a demo brew by several professional brewers: Rodger Davis (Triple Rock), Christian Kazakoff (Iron Springs), Ron Silberstein (ThirstyBear), Adam Lamoreaux (Linden St.) & more. 5-course food and beer pairing dinner with Chef Paul Canales, Beer Chef Bruce Paton, and Brewmaster Arne Johnson of Marin. Enjoy an incredible combination of Oliveto's sustainable ingredient driven dishes and the award-winning beers of Marin Brewing.

Come and meet Yuseff Cherney Head Brewer and Head Distiller of Ballast Point Brewery and Spirits as he takes over our brewhouse for the day. Yuseff has been creating some of the country's best beers for 15-plus years. We'll have some Ballast Point beers on tap all day. Then come back in a few weeks and taste the beer he brewed.

Join us as we tap a completely "over the top" hopped cask of IIMAX. We have stuffed even more hops in the cask!! It is as if our Imperial IPA didn't have enough Luplin Glands stuffed into the poor fermented wort already. Cask goes on at 4:30 PM. WARNING: Not for the faint at heart or hop haters.....

Please come and celebrate the man behind Oskar Blues' Gordon beer. He was a firefighter and a friend to many. Gordon will be on tap, logo pints, beer bucks from 6-9 pm. Try any size of the special Gordon pizza- fresh garlic, mushrooms and pepperoni! Let's raise a pint to the legend who inspired Dale to make this beer!

A special beer and food pairing menu will be featured. Meet and greet with Napa Smith's Master Brewer, Don Barkley, and BoilerHouse Restaurant's General Manager, Yu Kei Fan.

Prior to the event, 510 Brewing Co. will brew a collaboration beer with Jack’s Brewing Co. This beer will be on tap at the event. Join brewers Will Erickson and Travis Smith as we brew this recipe scaled down from 10bbls to 10 gallons on the current 510 pilot system out in front of Jack’s. Jack's brewery tours available.

An evening featuring the beers of Vanberg & Dewulf Importers: Saison Dupont, Foret, Avec Les Bons Voeux, Witkap Single, Witkap Dubbel, and Witkap Tripel
